What is the difference between OFCu copper and ECu?

The difference is due to the production process for single wires:

• OFCu (oxygen-free, non-oxidised copper) has purity 99.95% and does not contain oxygen.
• ECu (electrolytic copper, containing oxygen) has purity 99.90%.

🔹 OFCu copper is used in wires with a diameter of 0.07-0.15 mm (for better conductivity and resistance to oxidation).
🔹 Copper ECu is used in wires with a diameter of 0.20-0.30 mmbecause it is more mechanically robust.
