How does IGLA work?
Igla is a digital car security device that uses an innovative engine or transmission locking mechanism to ensure safety. Inside the vehicle, standard CAN/LIN bus circuit wiring is used, so there is no additional wiring. The security can be deactivated using a personal PIN code, set by the car owner on the factory buttons in the car. In addition to this form of authentication, there are two more: via an app on the phone, which uses an encrypted bluetooth transmission, or a small key fob. The key to security is that IGLA anti-theft systems cannot be easily found - the device only appears after authorisation.
