It took around 120 man hours to soundproof this Mazda, including 54 mats and 14 Dynamat foams.
Once we had achieved complete silence, it was time to improve the factory BOSE system.
The factory system was so cut in frequency that we spent a whole day measuring each of the 11 speakers to find the best solution.
With help came products from Helix. The brilliant brains of the operation, the Helix V-Eight DSP amplifier complemented by the Precision and Match series pickups did a super job.
In addition, the car gained a Match subwoofer in a discreet left wheel arch enclosure.
