Lexus RX500H - it's got a new sound and a new acoustic environment
What have we done?
- Digital signal output - we used a dedicated module that allowed optical Toslink connection to the amplifier.
- Comprehensive soundproofing
- New amplifier - we used the STEG SS-DSP12 to power the whole system.
- New speakers: 5x AudioControl PNW-35 (coaxial speakers), STEG Q65 woofers, STEG SFF1 effect loudspeakers, The woofer section - an ARC Audio 8D2 subwoofer, mounted in a factory-built but upgraded and well-silenced box.
- Adjusting the soundstage - precise tuning has resulted in a rich scene on the dashboard and full sound for the rear passengers.
- DRC control - mounted in the centre console, allows subwoofer adjustment and scene selection.
