The D40-Q2 has been designed in the form of a set-top box, which allows for discreet concealment and provides comprehensive protection.

Powerful two-stage protection

Concealed box design : Unlike traditional car cameras, the camera and recording unit are separate, allowing the recording unit to be discreetly mounted in the car glove box or under the seat, out of sight of bystanders. In addition, the micro SD card slot is located in a separate recording box, rather than in the front camera, ensuring safe storage of recorded footage. The recording box is designed to prevent unauthorised access, power disconnection and removal of the Micro SD card.

Not only does the front camera support QHD resolution, but also the rear camera, providing clear and detailed images in both directions.

Maximising video quality:

• 3D (noise reduction): by comparing the current image with the previous one, noise is eliminated, resulting in a clear and vivid recording, especially in low-light conditions.
• FRONT/REAR HDR: Technology that ensures clear and vivid footage in all driving conditions and captures every detail even at high brightness levels.
• NIGHT VISION: Night mode is designed to improve visibility in extremely low light conditions. It optimises brightness-related elements such as exposure, gamma and black levels, providing a vivid and clear image quality.

Built-in microphone in the front camera

Clear sound recording
The front camera is equipped with a microphone that accurately records all sounds. This ensures precise audio recording during accidents, providing a faithful record of the situation.

Parking mode:

• Motion detection: Detects movement around the vehicle to protect against potential danger.
• Low battery voltage setting: To prevent the car battery from being discharged, Vueroid constantly monitors its status. When the battery voltage drops below the set level, the power supply to the car camera is automatically disconnected to protect the battery.
• Formatless recording: The system records video information sequentially, promoting efficient use of memory card space to maximise memory card life and performance. In addition, in the event of a sudden interruption of power to the car camera, the stored files are protected from damage.
• Temperature monitoring system: When the Vueroid temperature monitoring system detects high temperatures, it switches to energy-saving mode, cools down the unit and resumes park mode once the temperature has stabilised. This prevents overheating and ensures the stability of the unit.
• Sleep and wake-up modes: A parking monitoring solution that uses minimal energy consumption to keep your car safe, even during a long-term business trip.
