What is the difference between OFCu and ECu copper?
The difference is due to the manufacture of the respective cables, where OFCu (99.95% purity) is referred to as oxygen-free copper (not deoxygenated) and ECu (99.90% purity) as oxygen-containing copper.
OFCu copper is used for single wires from 0.07 to 0.15 mm in diameter, and ECu copper is used for wires from 0.20 to 0.30 mm in diameter.
