If you want to listen to music, audiobooks or navigation from your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth® with maximum sound quality in your car, the BTR series Bluetooth® receivers with aptX(TM) are the ideal solution. With Ampire Bluetooth receivers, you can retrofit most navigation systems and car radios with wireless A2DP audio streaming via Bluetooth.

The connection is easy to set up and automatically restored via Bluetooth®. The BTR series uses the Bluetooth® protocol designed for headphones in smartphones and does not affect the functionality of your Bluetooth® car hands-free kit.

The BTR200-HD Bluetooth® receiver has been developed for navigation systems and car radios equipped with a 3.5 mm jack input and a 12 V installation.

Is it possible to listen via Bluetooth® in CD quality thanks to aptX(TM)?
In addition to standard Bluetooth®, we also offer receivers with Bluetooth® aptX(TM) codec. This codec is becoming increasingly popular. By using devices with the aptX standard, you can significantly improve the quality of your Bluetooth® audio streams.

What does Bluetooth® aptX™ improve?
The aptX(TM) codec uses a more efficient method of audio data compression, making better use of the available bandwidth. For aptX(TM) transmission, both the playback device and the transmitter must support Bluetooth® aptX(TM). You can recognise this feature by the aptX® logo on the device. The codec supports popular audio formats such as MP3 and FLAC.

Which smartphones support Bluetooth® aptX(TM)?
Not all Android smartphones support the Bluetooth® aptX(TM) codec. You can check your phone's compatibility in the device's technical specifications. Apple iPhones do not support the Bluetooth® aptX(TM) codec as a rule.

STEAMING THE DEVICE

  • Ensure that Bluetooth® is enabled on your device.

  • Switch on the ignition

  • LED (6) flashes blue (pairing mode)

  • Select „BTR200-HD” from the Bluetooth® menu on your device.”

  • After a successful connection, the LED lights up continuously and a single beep is heard in the audio system.

NOTE

  • Up to 9 devices can be paired with the BTR200-HD, but only one can stream audio at a time.
