The ARC Audio AS100 tweeter is a specially designed high-frequency driver, created to bring realism and depth to high-end car audio systems. Equipped with a 27 mm finely woven silk dome, it offers refined, smooth and detailed high-frequency sound, perfectly suited to the requirements of DSP-based installations.

At its core is a powerful neodymium magnetic system with a precision-machined top plate and an additional compensating magnet (bucking magnet) that strengthens the magnetic gap and minimises distortion at high output levels. A large copper cap reduces inductance, lowers non-linear distortion and extends the high-frequency range, ensuring transparency and accuracy across the entire listening range.

The tuned rear chamber of the AS100 controls dome compliance and resonance, allowing for a lower crossover point and smooth integration with midrange drivers in active 2-way or 3-way systems. Heat is effectively dissipated by an internal ventilation system beneath the cone, ensuring long-term reliability even in demanding acoustic environments.

To enable use as a coaxial tweeter with the AS600 model — and the upcoming AS690 — the AS100 features a reinforced, injection-moulded threaded insert at the rear of the enclosure. This design provides a robust, vibration-resistant mounting method, ensuring durability and reliability in high-vibration environments such as vehicles and powersport equipment.
