Note What is TC or 'Tinned Copper'? TC is tinned copper wire, i.e. wire covered with a layer of tin. Why do we need galvanised copper? Freshly manufactured bare copper conductors work very well, but bare copper wires are much more prone to oxidation over time than their galvanised counterparts.
