Sheep's wool damping

Sound-absorbing sheep's wool, ideal for damping the subwoofer enclosure.

Application:

• Absorption of airborne sound in the spaces between trim pieces in the vehicle.
• Damping or volumising closed subwoofer enclosures.
• Damping of loudspeaker enclosures, aluminium capsules for midrange speakers.
• Absorption of airborne sound in machinery.

The sheep's wool is installed using spray adhesive and/or mechanically. In subwoofer enclosures around 50% volumes can be loosely filled and lightly secured.

• Volumetric density: approx. 25 kg/m³.
• Resistance to mould
• Odourless
• Mineral-free 100% pure sheep's wool, free of environmentally hazardous substances
• Very good thermal insulation (λ 0.036 W/Km)
• Colour: natural beige/brown
