BMW M4 G80 Competition - hit us up for an upgrade to the factory Harman Kardon system!
The factory system consists of 12 loudspeakers and two amplifiers through which, in addition, the 'engine sound booster' signals pass.
We first tackled checking the factory audio signal and coding the ASD sounds.
We then replaced all the speakers with a dedicated Phoenix Gold + STEG system
Using special adapters, the signal was fed to the ARC Audio Blackbird amplifier, which is tasked with amplification, input signal processing, time delay correction and equalization at the output.
Installed components:
- Phoenix Gold BMW ZDSB100CS front and rear loudspeakers
- Under-seat loudspeakers STEG BM8-II
- STEG BM4C centre loudspeakers
- Audio Blackbird amplifier with ARC processor
In addition, we soundproofed the doors with STEG mats/foams
Finally, we tuned the whole thing to the customer's preferences
