Thanks to its special butyl compound, Ultra2.1 has excellent soundproofing and damping properties across a wide temperature range, while remaining lightweight. The rigid aluminium foil additionally provides a stiffening and stabilising effect.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"602\"><strong data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"479\">Application:<\/strong><br data-start=\"479\" data-end=\"482\" \/>The main areas of application for Ultra2.1 are places where vibration damping or noise reduction is required:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"815\">\n<li data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"697\">\n<p data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"697\">Sheet metal components, e.g. door panels, vehicle roof, vehicle floor, air ducts...<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"765\">\n<p data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"765\">Plastic components, e.g. panels and covers in a vehicle<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"815\">\n<p data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"815\">All types of machinery<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"839\">It is also suitable for:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"1033\">\n<li data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"914\">\n<p data-start=\"842\" data-end=\"914\">Closures and seals for internal door panels or other openings<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"977\">\n<p data-start=\"917\" data-end=\"977\">Forming a water shield over the speakers in the doors<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1181\">Thanks to its very strong adhesive properties and temperature resistance, Ultra2.1 can be used overhead without concern, even in multiple layers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1480\"><strong data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1195\">Processing:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1198\" \/>Ultra2.1 should be pressed firmly over the entire surface without air bubbles, preferably using a pressure roller. The adhesive strength depends largely on the pressure applied. The surface must be free of grease, wax and dust.
